Introduction to Instructional Design: The ADDIE Approach

This workshop will introduce participants to the ADDIE instructional design model, which involves the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of instruction.  Implementing the ADDIE model allows the development of instructional / training materials which address pre-identified instructional problems or performance gaps.

This workshop will equip trainers with the fundamental skills in instructional design needed to develop training materials. 

Learning Objectives

By the end of the workshop, participants should be able to
• Explain the five-step process of ADDIE model 
• Propose and design a lesson or activities for a lesson  based on ADDIE model
• Critique a lesson/activities for a lesson based on ADDIE model 

Who should attend?

Human Resources (HR) Managers, Project Managers, and Learning and Development (L&D) Managers and Team Leaders. 

Certification

Participants will be awarded the Certificate of Attendance by Republic Polytechnic upon meeting 75% of attendance requirement.
